Organizational Structure of the Grama Panchayat
Grama Sabha 
The Grama Sabha is the general assembly of the people of the Panchayat. It discusses development projects, public needs, and welfare activities, and provides recommendations for decision-making.
Grama Panchayat Committee 
The Grama Panchayat Committee is the elected governing body consisting of public representatives. It is responsible for the administration, governance, and overall development of the Panchayat.

President

The President is the chief executive authority of the Panchayat and provides leadership in governance, policy implementation, and development activities.

Vice President

Assists the President in administrative functions and assumes leadership responsibilities in the President's absence.

Standing Committees 

Development Standing Committee

Responsible for implementing development projects, improving infrastructure, and promoting the overall welfare of the community.

Finance Standing Committee

Oversees the Panchayat's financial management, including budgeting, revenue collection, and expenditure.

Health & Education Standing Committee

Supervises public health services, educational programmes, and related community welfare initiatives.

Welfare Standing Committee

Implements social welfare programmes and promotes social security and community well-being.

Other Sub-Committees

Constituted for specific sectors or projects to provide technical guidance and support for Panchayat activities.

Panchayat Secretary

The Secretary is the chief administrative officer responsible for office administration, official records, file processing, and implementation of government policies.

Office Administration 

Assistant Secretary

Assists in administrative and office functions. Also serves as the Member Secretary of Kudumbashree and coordinates various welfare schemes.

Junior Superintendent

Supervises the day-to-day office administration and coordinates file processing and the functioning of various office sections.

Accountant

Manages financial transactions, maintains accounts, and prepares income and expenditure statements.

Senior Clerk

Oversees official records and administrative procedures while coordinating the work of different office sections.

Clerk

Handles files, applications, tax collection, office registers, and other routine administrative duties.

Office Attendant

Assists with document handling, office maintenance, and other supporting administrative responsibilities.
